Bugs are always creeping in our software and quite frankly it's tough to have a 100% bug free app. But, we sincerely apologize if you are experiencing one at the moment. Therefore, we have this article to help you out on how to report a bug to us so we can slay it as fast as we can.
Try all these first before reporting a bug!
Some bugs can be solved simply by doing the steps below without the need of our help! It's easy and quick!
- Update your windows app to the latest version via the Microsoft store (even better, you can setup automatic updates. Find out how here!)
- Do an app reset. Go to your PC Setting > Apps > Apps & features > Search for Drawboard PDF > Click the triple dot of the app > Click Advanced Options > Reset
- Logout/Login. Yes, this might solves the issue for you.
- Reinstall the app
- Try closing heavy applications running in the background that might affect your performance (e.g. Video streaming software) and see if you are still experiencing the issue
How to contact us and report a bug?
If you are still experiencing the issue after following the above, please contact the Drawboard Support Team. Follow the simple steps below:
- Submit a request through our help center: https://support.drawboard.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
- Please fill in the details correctly:
- Put the correct app as we have 2 products: Drawboard PDF & Drawboard Projects.
- Put the correct platform(s) that you are experiencing the issue with. Put 2 or 3 platforms it's a multi-platforms issue
- Please provide more information in the 'Could you explain further' section. This will helps us understand the core issue of the bug even faster.
- Give us the specific steps to reproduce the issue
- Tell us if this issue is only happening consistently or intermittently
- Give us the version of the app that is experiencing this issue
- Provide us with attachments such as:
- Screenshots of the issue
- Screen recording/videos of the issue
- Logs. Find out here how to get one.
- Documents that you are having the issue with
- Once you have all the details filled in, Click Submit
- You will be contacted to your email address under 24hrs! Please check your spam folder just in case it goes through there.
