In the event of your documents getting corrupted by our app (usually it's caused by a sudden crash while trying to save the document), our app is now designed to automatically restore a backup file of your corrupted documents when you try to open them. The backup files are created every 5 mins the moment you edit your document.
You will be prompted with a dialog below when your corrupted document is recovered.
Document Archive
Our app also saves other backup files in the system which is located in the Archive folder. You can find this via Setting > Help > Document recovery
There are 2 folders inside the archive folder:
Recently Closed
Every time a document is closed from the canvas (either intentionally or unintentionally), it will be backed up in this folder. So if the recovered document is unsatisfactory or if you lost a document on our app, you can go to this folder to find the documents.
Note: This folder is reset every 7 days to prevent the app from lagging out
Recovery
Every time a corrupted document is restored, we will save the original corrupted file in this folder. This is particularly useful if the corrupted document is not that corrupted and that you want to restore them using third party apps or if you want to recover some of the annotation on that document.
