It can be frustrating when a document doesn’t upload correctly. This can happen for a few different reasons.
In this guide, we’ll walk through some common situations and what you can do to fix them.
What’s happening with your upload?
To get you the right solution, first identify which of these situations best describes your issue.
The upload is slow, gets stuck, or times out
You might see the progress bar stop moving or an error message like "Upload Failed" after a long wait. This is common with large files or on unstable network connections.
In this case, we recommend enabling a feature called Iterative Save, which makes the upload process much more resilient to interruptions.
To enable Iterative Save:
- Navigate to
Settings in the application.
-
Select the
Miscellaneous tab from the settings menu.
-
Find the option labeled Enable Iterative Save and click the toggle to turn it On.
-
Retry the upload
You see an immediate error message
Sometimes, an error message appears right after you select a file to upload. These often tell you exactly what’s wrong.
What else can you try?
If you’re not seeing a specific error message or if enabling Iterative Save didn't solve the problem, here are a few general actions you can take.
-
Check your connection. Our application requires a stable internet connection to function correctly. Try refreshing the page or, if you're on Wi-Fi, move closer to your router.
-
Restart the application. A quick restart can solve many unexpected issues. Close the application completely (or refresh your browser tab) and open it again.
