When you open a document it is great to be able to see what you are working on on the canvas, but sometimes you need to see what is on the other pages within the document.
In this article, we will walk through all of the utility of the pages view and how you can best manage the pages in your document
Launching the page view
- Navigate to the left-hand menu
- At the top of the menu click the page icon
- This will open the page list where you can scroll through and view the pages of your document
Navigating pages
From this the page list view you can also navigate to the pages you wish to view
- Open the page list view
- Scroll though the list and find the page you wish to view
- Click on that page
- You will then be taken to that page in the document
Re-arrange pages
Sometimes you might need to change the order of your pages, you can do this from the page list view.
- Open the page list view
- Click and hold on the page you would like to move
- Drag it up or down the page list until you reach the desired destination
- Release the click and the page will settle into its new position
View all pages
There are times when you want to see a more high-level view of all of the pages within your document. For this you can:
- Navigate to the page list view
- Click the view all pages button
- This will launch a separate window where you can see all of the pages in your document
From here you will be able to:
- Navigate to any page by clicking on it
- Increase the size of the thumbnails to get a better view
- Rotate the pages *
- Duplicate the pages *
- Remove pages *
- Re-arrange pages*
- Launch the document builder (link)*
*These can all be accessed via the edit button in the bottom left corner
Page options
When you open the page list view you will be able to click on the three dots on the page thumbnail and see the following options:
- Insert a new page
- Rotate clockwise
- Rotate counter-clockwise
- Clear annotations
- Flatten Annotations
- Delete Page
