Page manipulation is an essential feature that allows you to rearrange, rotate, duplicate, insert, and delete pages within your documents. This feature is available on Windows, Web, and iOS, and now—for the first time—it is also supported for cloud documents! Any changes made to a cloud document will automatically sync across all platforms, ensuring a seamless workflow no matter where you're working.
This guide will walk you through how to manipulate pages using either the Pages view or the right-click menu for quick access.
Opening the Pages view
The Pages view allows you to view all the pages in your document with thumbnails and provides tools to rearrange, rotate, duplicate, insert, and delete pages.
- Open your document
- Navigate to the left-hand menu.
- Click the Pages icon at the top of the menu.
Note: On iOS, the Pages view icon is located on the left side next to the document name.

Rearranging pages
You can now change the order of pages within both local and cloud documents:
- Open your document. Navigate to the Pages view
- Locate the page thumbnails.
- Click and hold the page you want to move.
- Drag it to the desired position.
- Release to confirm the new order.
Alternatively, on iOS or Web, you can use the Move Page Up or Move Page Down options to rearrange pages.
Inserting new pages
You can now insert new pages into both local and cloud documents with ease:
- Click the three-dot menu on any page thumbnail in the Pages View.
- Select Insert New Page (or Add Page on Web).
- On Windows, choose from available options such as a blank page, template, or imported document.
- The new page will be inserted at the selected position and synced across platforms.
Note: On iOS, you can insert a new blank page or add pages from another file using the "Add" button below the Pages View.
Alternatively, you can right-click on a page to insert a new page.
Deleting pages
If you no longer need a page, you can remove it:
- Click the three-dot menu on the page thumbnail.
- Select Delete Page.
- Alternatively, you can right-click on a page to delete a page.
⚠️ Warning: This action is irreversible. If you delete a page from a cloud document, it will be permanently removed across all devices.
Copy/Cut/Duplicate pages
For more control over pages, you can copy, cut, or duplicate pages:
- Copy Page – Creates a duplicate that you can paste elsewhere in the document.
- Cut Page – Removes the selected page but allows you to paste it in a new position.
- Duplicate Page – Instantly creates a copy of the selected page in the same location.
To use these options:
- Open the Pages View or right-click on a page.
- Select Copy, Cut, or Duplicate from the menu.
- If using Copy or Cut, navigate to the desired location, right-click, and select Paste.
Rotate pages
If a page is in the wrong orientation, you can now rotate it from any platform, and the change will sync to the cloud:
- Find the page you want to rotate.
- Click the three-dot menu on the page thumbnail or right click on a page
- Select Rotate Clockwise or Rotate Counterclockwise.
Editing pages in bulk
For bulk page management:
- Open the pages view.
- You can select multiple pages by either:

Clicking the Select button at the bottom or

Holding Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and clicking on the pages you want to select.

- Apply bulk actions like rearrange, rotate, duplicate, or delete.
Edits made to cloud documents will sync instantly across Windows, Web, and iOS.
View all pages
This feature is only available on windows.
There are times when you want to see a more high-level view of all of the pages within your document. For this you can:
- Navigate to the page list view
- Click the view all pages button
- This will launch a separate window where you can see all of the pages in your document
From here you will be able to:
- Navigate to any page by clicking on it
- Increase the size of the thumbnails to get a better view
- Rotate the pages *
- Duplicate the pages *
- Remove pages *
- Re-arrange pages*
- Launch the document builder (link)*
