We’ve identified a known issue affecting Google SSO on Windows when using the built-in Edge webview. This issue causes the Google login screen to appear broken or unresponsive.
Since this behavior is caused by a Microsoft/Edge bug, we recommend switching your login method to use your system web browser instead. This ensures that when you try to sign in to the Windows app, the Google sign-in will open in your default browser and complete successfully.
To change this setting:
Go to Settings → Miscellaneous → Authentication Login Flow
Select System Web Browser
After updating this setting, try signing in again.
