Need to stamp a drawing or set of drawings with a review status? Users can easily create stamps from images or annotations in Drawboard PDF. Stamps and other markups can be saved to the Markup Library for use at any time on any document and can also be shared with other users. The Markup Library is available to all Pro Plus and Pro Unlimited users on the Windows app.

In this article, we'll show you how to:

• Create a stamp from an annotation
• Create a stamp from an image
• Stamp multiple pages within a document in one go
• Share saved stamps with other users

Create a stamp from an annotation

Stamps can be created in Drawboard PDF using markup tools including rectangles, ellipses, clouds, and textboxes.

To create and save a stamp:

1. Build your stamp using your preferred drawing tools. Tip: We recommend using a shape tool in combination with the textbox tool to create a simple stamp
2. Using the Rectangle Select or Lasso Select tool, select your annotation/s. A menu will appear.
3. Tap Add to Markup Library

Your stamp will now be saved to your Markup Library. You can access it at any time on any document by tapping the 3 dots on the Markup Library in your toolbar.

Create a stamp from an image

Already have an image that you would like to use as a stamp in Drawboard PDF? Save it to the Markup Library to use at any time. To create a stamp from an image:

1. Add the image you would like to use to your canvas. To do this, either:
   • Drag and drop your image from your file explorer, from your desktop or from another app or webpage onto your canvas OR
   • Select the image tool > tap anywhere on your canvas > find and select your image. It will then be added to the canvas
2. Tap Add to Markup Library

The stamp will now be saved to the Markup Library to access at any time on any document.

Apply a stamp to all or multiple pages within a document

To stamp all or multiple pages:

1. Select your stamp from the Markup Library
2. Apply your stamp anywhere on your document. Once placed, a menu will appear.
3. Tap Apply to pages
4. Select between
   • All pages
   • Even pages
   • Odd pages
   • Custom range
5. Once selected, tap Apply

The stamp will now display on the selected pages.

Share saved stamps with another user

The ability to import and export stamps and other markups to and from the Markup Library is coming soon to Drawboard PDF. In the meantime, you can share your saved markups from your local directory to another Windows user.

All markups saved to the Markup Library are also saved to your device's local directory in a folder named 'Library'.

To share saved stamps or markups with your team or with another user:

1. Search "MarkupLibrary.json" in your file explorer
2. Once found, right-click the file and then select Open file location. A folder named 'Library' will then open
3. Share all contents of the 'Library' folder with the other user/s
4. The other user/s will need to add all contents of the 'Library' folder to the same 'Library' folder in their local directory
5. Once added, the user's Markup Library will be replaced with the markups shared with them
