How to record audio notes and attach them to your PDF documents
- From the Drawboard PDF canvas, tap the plus sign in your toolbar and find Audio Notes. Navigate to the Pro tools tab or search for Audio in the search bar.
- Add the Audio Notes tool to your toolbar. You can do this by either double clicking the Audio icon or by tapping the plus icon near the Audio icon
- Make sure the Audio Notes tool is selected, then tap the section of PDF document where you would like to add your audio note
- Tap the red record button that appears
- Make your voice note, then tap the stop button (you can also pause your audio note and restart)
- Save your recording
- To replay your audio note, tap the audio icon on your PDF, then tap ‘Play’
How to attach a sound file to a section of your PDF using Drawboard PDF
- Select the Audio Notes icon from your toolbar
- Tap the 3 dots near the Audio notes icon. A modal will appear
- Select Attach Sound and exit the modal
- Tap the section of your PDF page that you would like to attach the sound file. Your file explorer will appear
- Find and select the sound file that you would like to attach to your PDF. The file will then attach to the section of your PDF that you have selected.
- To replay your audio note, tap the audio icon on your PDF, then tap ‘Play’
Audio notes is available to all Pro plan users on Windows.
