One of the great benefits of uploading your documents to the cloud is the ability to sync your documents and their markups across devices, to ensure you have all that you need on all of your devices.

How to confirm annotation sync
- Upload a document
- Make some annotations on the document
- Open the app on another device or open on a different platform (WEB/UWP)
- Sign in to your Drawboard Account
- You will see your uploaded document
- Open your document to see the annotations present on the document
What happens if I am working on a cloud document while offline?
If you are using the UWP app, when you open a cloud document for the first time it will download a copy to allow you to work on a document offline
- When connected to the internet upload a document
- Once the document is uploaded open it
- The app will download the document to make it available for offline use
- Disconnect from the internet
- You will notice that the connectivity indicator will change to offline
- Mark up your document
- When you come back online your annotations will sync
- You can test this by viewing the document on the WEB app
