With the Microsoft Teams + Drawboard Integration, you can easily open, create, and share PDF documents from your Microsoft Team's chat.
Installing Drawboard PDF to Microsoft Teams
- Open the Microsoft Teams app or webapp
- Click on the triple dot (...) on the left hand side menu > Get more apps
- Search for Drawboard PDF
- Click add
How it works
Once you have installed the Drawboard app in MS teams, you can now head to one of your chats to use the integration.
Before using the app, you would need to sign in first. Please follow the steps below:
- Go to one of your chats
- Click the triple dot (...) > Search "Drawboard PDF"
- Sign in with your Drawboard account
- Start using the app!
How to share a PDF:
With this integration, you can easily share your PDFs on your Drawboard apps to anyone you like. Please follow the steps below:
- Once signed in, you would see all of your PDFs (only cloud documents) on the dashboard
- Click the PDF that you would like to share
- Click Enter
- The recipient can click "View in Drawboard PDF" and they will be taken to our web app to view the PDF. The recipient needs to have a Drawboard account too to view the shared PDF
Note: You can only share PDF's that have been uploaded to the Drawboard cloud (Cloud documents).
How to share a PDF with a collaborator's permission:
Perhaps you would like to share your PDFs with a collaborator's permission so anyone who views the PDF can edit them. Please follow the steps below:
- Click the triple dot (...) from the MS teams toolbar
- Click the triple dot (...) again on the top right corner > Share a document
- On the modal, select the document you wish to share
- Change the level of access to "Collaborator"
- Click OK then send
How to create a document
Follow the steps below to create a new document:
- Click the triple dot (...) from the MS teams toolbar
- Click the triple dot (...) again on the top right corner > Create a New Document
- Fill in the Document Name, Page Size, Page Orientation, Number of Pages
- Click "Create Document", then send
