Drawboard Projects is the collaborative and real-time markup and issue management platform that enables teams to work together to complete design, drawing and document review activities.
Once you've got your account created and installed the Projects apps, you can get started straight away on your first review.
First, add your team to your Projects account so they can log in.
Next, create a new project. You need to use the web app to create projects, and then you can access them using the Windows, iOS or web apps. Next, upload the drawings you want to review with the team. While uploading a drawing, you can manually enter the drawing details or set up a template that uses OCR to automatically populate the drawing name, drawing number and revision.
Tip: If your team uses Revit, you can publish sheets directly into Projects using our Revit add-in
Invite some team members to your project to begin collaborating and mention them on drawings to co-ordinate review activities. Work in parallel, with everyone's markup appearing in real time for all to see, and raise issues that need to be tracked to completion, pinning them to exact locations on a drawing.
Schedule meetings as needed with your team: with each team member able to see immediate changes to key project information, drawings, documents, markup and issues, the same information is available to both in-person and remote team members, empowering remote work.
When all issues are completed and all markup has been dealt with appropriately and a design review cycle ends, upload a new revision of the drawings and use the overlay comparison mode to validate that all changes have been made correctly.
