Drawboard PDF operates with a free Essentials plan and monthly or yearly subscription for Pro plans. Prior to May 2020, the Essentials plan was a US$10 once-off fee, however, since May 2020, this is now a free plan.
The Pro subscription plans were introduced way back in 2016, now in 2023, we have upgraded to our new personal Pro plans which provide more flexibility in how you want to use Drawboard.

Accounts System
We now use 3 account systems which are the following:
- Microsoft store account (logged in to Microsoft Store)
- Drawboard cloud account (logged in to Drawboard Windows app or Web app)
- iOS App store account (logged into iOS app store)
A general rule in our account system is that: One Microsoft store account can only be connected to one Drawboard cloud account. So, we use a method called: First come first serve. Let me give you a scenario:
💡 Let's say you login to your Microsoft store with an email: Drawboard@gmail.com.Then, you install our Drawboard Windows app and login to the Drawboard app with an email: abc@gmail.com.
Then, Drawboard@gmail.com will be connected to abc@gmail.com since it's the first account that is logged in to the Drawboard app. So, any subscription you have on your Microsoft account(Drawboard@gmail.com) will be given to your Drawboard cloud account(abc@gmail.com)
Note: Your Microsoft Store email address doesn't have to be the same with your Drawboard cloud email address since we are using a first come first serve method
Once you have connected your Drawboard cloud account with your Microsoft Store account, then you can try to login to our Web app with the same Drawboard cloud account to get the same subscription. Hence, it is recommended that you first login with our Windows app and then with our Web app.
