The Organization Management section of the app is accessible for all organization Admins on the top left corner of the projects screen below Projects - click on Manage Organization to get started.
The Overview tab gives you a high-level view of your current organization, as well as details on who the other Admins are.
On this tab, you can revoke a user's admin privileges (demoting them to a Member) or remove an Admin from the organization entirely via the More button on the right side of each Admin listed.
The Projects tab gives you insight into all of your current organization's projects, as well as details on their activity - number of project members, drawings, and documents.
Creating new projects
Projects can be created from both the existing Projects screen as well as the Projects tab in the organization management panel.
When creating a new project, you can add a project image (optional), as well as edit the project name, description, and the organization it belongs to. When creating a project from within the organization management section, the organization selected will default to the organization you are currently in.
Transferring existing projects
To add an existing project to your organization, click on the more icon on the Projects screen for the project you want to transfer, and then select "Transfer to other organization".
You will then be prompted to choose which organization you would like to transfer this project to. Once transferred, it will appear under the organization you selected.
To remove a project from your organization, click the More button on the right side of the project listing, and then select Remove project from organization.
Adding members to an organization
There are multiple ways you can add users to your new or existing organization:
- Add New Member - using the "+ New member" option in the top right of the screen, you can add multiple users to the organization via their emails. You can choose either Member or Admin permissions before sending the invite.
- Invite multiple team members at once - using the "+ New member" option in the top right of the screen, you can add your entire team to the organization at once using the "Invite multiple people at once option at the bottom of the screen. Click to download the sample Excel .csv file, input all of your team's user emails and permission levels (Admin or Member) and then drag and drop the .csv file to start the invite process.
- Add user 'Not in organization' - when a project is added to an organization, all members of that individual project who are not yet members of the organization will appear under the 'Not in organization' list on the Members tab. You can individual invite these members to join the organization by clicking on the more icon and then "Invite to join organization"
Promoting and removing existing members of your organization
To promote an existing organization member to an Admin, click the More button on the right side of the member listing, and then select Make admin.
To remove an existing organization member, click the More button on the right side of the member listing, and then select Remove from organization.
Viewing organization member activity
To view how active a user has been in Drawboard Projects, refer to the columns titled Projects and Last activity on the right side of the Members list.
The Last activity date will correspond with the last time a particular user has logged into the iOS, Windows 10, or web application, while Projects will show how many projects this user is currently a member of.
